Wine tasting: Burgundy v New World wines

Tuesday 19 April 2011

7.30pm - 8.30pm, £20.00 per person

Join the Vintner team in comparing the most popular wines of the New world with the most traditional of the old world. Taste top quality Pinot from Central Otago, New Zealand and first class Nuits Saint Georges and Mercurey from Burgundy in France. Taste rich, rewarding Chardonnay from South Africa and soft, seductive white burgundy made from that same grape variety grown in the Cote d'Or, the Cote Chalonnaise and the Maconais.

This tasting will prove how great burgundy is and how disappointing it can often be.
