Rick Stein and Sam Harrison do pop-up restaurant at The Phoenix, Putney

Rebecca Mascarenhas, fellow owner of Sam's Brasserie and Harrison's, was wondering what she could do to help in the wake of the calamitous earthquake in Haiti. It occurred to her, with her restaurant, The Phoenix, being closed at the moment, they could hold a series of pop-up restaurants there during March.

Rick and his chefs from The Seafood Restaurant, alongside chefs and front of house teams at Sam's and Harrison's will be hosting an exclusive pop-up evening on Tuesday 23rd and Wednesday 24th March. Places are selling out quick so please visit www.putneypopup.co.uk and book now.

The response from Rebecca's friends and acquaintances in the restaurant business has been amazing. As well as Rick Stein, Rowley Leigh, Bruce Poole, Phil Howard, Helena Puolakka, Atul Kochhar, Patrick Williams and Jesse Dunford Wood are all eager to help, resulting in a fabulous series of confirmed pop-ups restaurants - with more hopefully on the way!

For further information on the nights, how to book and for links to the restaurants involved please visit the Putney pop-up website

As with our lunch for Haiti at Sam's, proceeds will be donated to the relief efforts in Haiti through Action Against Hunger. If you are unable to make one of the evenings and would still like to make a donation, please visit the Action Against Hunger website.

Please note, all bookings must be made via the Putney pop-up website only
